Cecilia Paredes 43 holds her one-month-old son Dilan in front of

Madrid January 23 2015. Paredes her husband Wilson Ruilova 35 and their
sons Andres 16 Miguel 7 and Dilan have been living in the apartment that
belongs to the Municipal Housing and Land Company (EMVS) for about four
years. The couple are currently jobless and living on a shared total of
341 Euros ($382) in monthly subsidy. Unable to cope with the rent
Parades and her husband stopped paying it about two years ago. Their
apartment was eventually sold by the EMVS to a private investment
company.
