Turkish Armed Forces (572 soldiers to be exact) entered syrian terrain to secure a monument of Suleiman Shah the granddaddy of Osman I the founder of the Ottoman Empire. 100 vehicals (40 tanks) entered Syria to rescue 38 Soldiers who garded the monument. The area around the monument is regarded Turkish territory which is located in ISIS controlled territory. 1 soldier died in an accident. The remains of Suleiman Shah are newly placed in Esme about 200m from the Turkish border.

Yeah the idea has been around forever but as far as I know the Tyr was the first "mass production" version of it. Pretty much every infantry unit in GWOT that can get a hold of a feed chute has jerry rigged something like it.
