flanker7Will the 556 armed units also convert to the MPT-76?
And also the Army SF guys already change their old carbine Colt models
with HK416A5 rifles Navy SF units bought some new M4A1 models with RIS
and all of the fancy electronic stuff wth them and also Police SF
adopted SIG516 rifles...
Thank you for the reply!
Thank you all for the pictures.
flanker7Will the 556 armed units also convert to the MPT-76?
The percentage of the units using 5.56 HK33 right now are higher
than the ones using 7.62 G3 for the moment. So yeah a lot of them will
be converting to the MPT but I do not know to what degree. First to go
will be the G3's (majority of them being standard Army infantry but all
of the branches have some units with G3) then some of the HK33's but as
to which HK33 armed units will be receiving throughout this year and
which ones will receiving them later we haven't been informed. It'll
probably start in Ankara followed by Eastern forces and then Cyprus...
Units stationed in the Western areas will probably be the last ones with
the exception of some.
