A company size tactical group from the Polish 12 Mechanized Brigade initiated a 700 km march to the US Army base in Hohenfels Germany. The Polish group numbers about 120 troops and 20 vehicles including 15 wheeled armored vehicles locally known as Rosomak ( Wolverine ). The company forms part of so called Visegrad European Union Battle Group and will participate in the Saber Junction 15 NATO exercise along with troops from other allied nations such as USA Bulgaria Hungary Lithuania or Romania.

Yesterday 08 April marked the end of "Viru Kevad 2015" three-day tactical exercise of Viru Infantry Battalion close to 400 soldiers took part. In these photos taken Wednesday April 8 2015 a U.S. military fighter jet participates in a NATO Baltic Air Policing Mission practice mission in the Tapa training area some 70 kilometers (43 miles) southwest of Tallinn Estonia. Russia is so close that the F-16 fighter pilots can see it on the horizon as they swoop down over a training range in Estonia in the biggest ever show of U.S. air power in the Baltic countries.
