German Tornados take off after a quick refueling April 15 2015 at Scott Air Force Base Ill. German British and Italian air forces fly the Tornado air-to-ground and air defense fighter. The Tornado first flew on Aug. 14 1974 and was introduced into service in 1979-1980.
