Maeurer said Sunday the city was on terror alert this weekend after
receiving information that a 39-year-old Lebanese suspect had tried to
procure weapons of war. However Maeurer said police didn�t find any
weapons during their searches and the two persons who had been detained
temporarily were set free again. Police had stepped up their presence in
the city Saturday and increased security for the Jewish community.
